You've done everything you were told would help.
You've rested. Stretched. Strengthened. Taken the medications. Seen the specialists.
And yet...the pain is still here. You're starting to wonder if it will ever go away and if you will ever start feeling like your body is your own again.
I've got a question that may change everything.
What if your body isn't broken?
What if, all along, it's been trying to tell you something? What if, what you really need, is to learn to listen in a new way?
When Pain Stays is a guided, online, group program designed for people living with persistent pain who are ready to stop fighting their bodies and start understanding them.
Together, we'll explore the neuroscience of pain, how the nervous system works, and the messages your body may be trying to communicate. Through education, guided reflection, gentle practices, and community support, you'll begin building a new relationship with your body—one rooted in curiosity, compassion, and self-trust rather than fear.
This isn't about convincing yourself the pain isn't real. It's about learning why pain sometimes persists, discovering what influences your experience, and developing practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and begin creating a life that's bigger than your pain.
Inside the program you'll...
This guided online cohort combines weekly teaching, guided reflection, live group support, a 27-page workbook, and a private community to support you in building a new relationship with your body.
Full program details will be shared when enrollment opens.
Imagine waking up and no longer wondering whether your body will betray you today.
Imagine understanding what your symptoms are trying to communicate instead of feeling afraid of them.
Imagine making decisions based on what matters to you—not just what your pain allows.
Imagine trusting yourself again.
That is the work we'll begin together.
Hi, I'm Katie.
I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy, yoga teacher, and creator of the Body Literacy Method.
Over the last decade, I've worked with hundreds of people living with persistent pain, chronic stress, and unexplained symptoms. Both through my work and my own journey with health challenges, I've come to see a gap between what our healthcare system often offers and what our bodies truly need. Again and again, I've seen that our bodies aren't working against us—they're communicating. The problem is that most of us were never taught how to understand their language.
When Pain Stays brings together modern pain science, nervous system education, movement, and compassionate self-inquiry to help you build a new relationship with your body. Our society doesn't teach us how to befriend our bodies, it teaches us to override them. Learning to reconnect with ourselves and intentionally rebuild that connection is the most meaningful journey I've ever embarked upon.
If you feel called to this work at this time in your life, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
